Gita Varadarajan was born and raised in India. She has worked with children all over the world and currently teaches at Riverside Elementary School in Princeton, New Jersey. My Bindi is her picture book debut, and she is also co-author of the middle-grade bestseller Save Me a Seat.
Archana Sreenivasan is a freelance illustrator based in Bangalore, India.
 
Her illustrations have been published in numerous magazines, children's books, book covers, and comics. She finds the natural world and people-watching most inspiring and is endlessly fascinated by cats.
